OVX Grants
Eligible applicants include the following organizations serving youth: schools, community coalitions, community health education groups, home health agencies, faith-based organizations, teen/youth centers, and other youth serving agencies that are committed to tobacco use prevention and helping teens make healthy decisions in the areas of nutrition and physical fitness, healthy relationships, stress management, and other drug prevention efforts. The applicant must focus on a geographic area smaller than the state to be considered eligible. State government organizations are not eligible to apply for OVX grants, but are encouraged to collaborate and support applicants in their service area. 2011-2012 Grant Application Deadline
The combined OVX and VKAT grant RFP was released April 19, 2011, and the application deadline is 4p (EST) on May 24, 2011. Applications must be mailed or hand delivered - faxed or emailed applications will not be accepted.
